What’s with all the balloons? 

Well, with Hadrus located in the Albuquerque, NM metro area, balloons are seen in the sky’s around here weekly (sometimes daily). Wind currents and air temperature in a certain range are key to flying of hot air balloons, and the Albuquerque area has the perfect combination of these elements. Also, each October, all eyes turn skyward for the city’s week long International Balloon Fiesta. Somewhere between 800 and 1,000 balloons dot the sky as part of an event that draws visitors – both balloonists and spectators – from all over the globe, making Albuquerque the hot air ballooning capital of the world.
