Banner Finishing Options

We manufacture banners in the most popular sizes from small to extra-large meeting nearly every project need. However, we realize that standard sizes don’t always fit the requirements, so we gladly produce custom banners to your exacting specifications. We also provide custom finishing options so you get exactly what you want.

Welded Hem

Unless otherwise requested, all banners come finished with 1″ machine welded hems. Welded hems are stronger than traditional sewing or double sided tape, providing a double-strength layer of material for other finishing options such as grommets.

Reinforced Hem Heavy-Duty Option

Nylon webbing is machine welded into the banner hem to increase strength. Recommended for added safety and security over roadways or areas subject to windy conditions. Reinforced Hem must be specified at time of order (additional cost will apply)

Metal Grommets

Standard: Banners come standard with metal grommets in all corners and spaced evenly along the edges every 2-3 feet

Custom Spacing Option: Banners that require more grommets than “standard spacing” and/or for banners that require special or specific grommet positioning. Custom spacing must be specified at time of order. Additional per banner: $20.00(A)

Wind Vent Option

Banner face is cut with several “half-moon” slits which are intended to lessen pressure on the banner caused by wind. This option allows the banner to withstand some measure of wind but will also lessen the overall life of the banner. Wind Vents must be specified at time of order. Note: If wind is a concern, please also consider mesh banners. Additional per banner: $20.00(A)

Pocket Option

Banners can be finished with an optional pocket instead of a standard hem. Designed for sliding a long rod through a “pocket” along the top and letting the banner hang. Pockets can be along one or two edges and must be specified at time of order.

Sizes available: 3″ pocket (for rods up to 1″ O.D.), 4″ pocket (for rods up to 1-3/4″ O.D.). Additional per banner: $20.00(A)

Zip Ties

Banner zip ties are 10-inches in length. Black color is for outdoor use and is UV resistant. One zip tie per grommet location and two zip ties in all corners recommended. $0.50/tie(A)

Rope Leaders Option

Rope leaders are available in any length (5-foot length is most popular). Specify length and how many rope sections per banner will be required. Diamond braid multi-filament rope has a break strength of approximately 400 pounds per inch. Add $1.00 per linear foot of rope (A)
